Preaching from the Bible alone will address those needs. Often churches will offer classes that address specific needs, such as parenting, finances, marital relations, addictions, divorce, and other important matters.

Beyond these matters of life, also consider the spiritual, emotional and mental influence church can have. When you engage in positive church relationships, others in the church will be there to support you in times of challenge or crisis, and in times of joy. They will be there to help you stick to your commitments, and to stretch yourself. These matters require trust and transparency, which take time to develop.

The church is also called the body of Christ and the fellowship. There are many people with many different gifts and talents. They will be able to help you and encourage you.
